Annoyed as sin.
I’m supposed to be getting back into a routine that allows me to do the things people expect of me - namely: getting a job - while simultaneously allowing myself whatever minimal spare time i’d have to exercise - a routine that died months ago after i had made amazing progress because school didn’t allow time for working out and now i’m back to where i fucking started: fat and lethargic - and now, while coping with the stresses of finding a job as a nearly unemployable adult, i’m also being expected to do bullshit like mow the lawn on a rainy day.
So i do it because it’s the least i CAN do, despite it cutting into half of my day, and then, because it’s been raining and the grass is wet, when i FINALLY finish mowing, i’m told i have to go back out and do it AGAIN to remove the dumb fucking wet clumps of grass that form, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE GRASS WOULD HAVE BEEN DRY TOMORROW AND NONE OF THE PROBLEMS WOULD BE AN ISSUE.
But my dad needs things done “a certain way.” Not because it’s the way HE PREFERS IT, but because “it’s the right way.”
so yeah. i’m annoyed.

so today i learned that in the late 1800s-early 1900s, the navy became concerned about possible homosexual activity among their sailors
so they sent in decoys, whose job was to pretend to want to engage in homosexual activity in order to find gay sailors
except then the job of the decoy got popular
like, really popular
